Karthik Jayaram is an Indian actor who is quite famous in kannada industry . He is known for his work in the television soap opera Ashwini Nakshatra, in which he played the role of a "superstar" actor Jay Krishna ("JK"), that was aired on Colors Kannada, between 2013 and 2015. During the time, he appeared in films playing supporting roles mostly. His first role as a lead actor came in 2014 with the film Just Love. Alongside acting, he also works as a structural engineer.
