Ishita Arun is an Indian model, VJ and actress.Ishita appeared on Television screen when she did her first commercial at the age of three for Vicks Vaporub alongside Jayant Kripalani. This was the famous "Gale mein khich khich" ad which aired for years on Doordarshan. She participated in a children’s theatre workshop conducted by Nadira Babbar, at the age of nine, and worked with Gullan Kriplani for a morning series called Science BasicsPrior to this Ishita appeared in Shyam Benegal’s TV serial Yatra.She made her music video debut in 1999 opposite Sonu Nigam in the singer’s song "Bijuria" from his pop album Mausam (Magnasound). Her film debut came through a Tamil film Snegithiye (2000) directed by Priyadarshan
