Manju Warrier is an Indian film actress and dancer known for her work in Malayalam films. She is regarded as one of the most successful leading actresses of the Malayalam film industry. Warrier made her debut in Sakshyam at the age of 16. Her prominent films include Sallapam, Ee Puzhayum Kadannu, Thooval Kottaram , Kaliyattam, Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu , Daya,Pranayavarnangal,Summer in Bethlehem, Kanmadam , and Pathram . She won the National Film Award – Special Jury Award for her performance in Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu . She won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for the film Ee Puzhayum Kadannu and has won four consecutive Filmfare Award for Best Actress trophies. Manju married actor Dileep on 20 October 1998 at Aluva Sri Krishna Temple. The couple have a daughter, Meenakshi. Dileep and Manju filed for divorce in 2014 and it was granted in January 2015. She made a comeback to cinema after a 14-year sabbatical with the critically and commercially successful film How Old Are You .
