Balarama Krishnulu is a 1992 Telugu drama film produced by Sunkara Madhu Murali on Vinnela Art Productions on banner, presented by Sri Sravanthi Movies, directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty. The film stars Shobhan Babu, Rajashekhar, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna in lead roles and the music was composed by Raj-Koti. The film is a remake of the Tamil movie Cheran Pandiyan from 1991.Balaramaiah (Sobhan Babu) is the head of the village. His word is an ordinance to villagers. He lives with his wife Vasumathi (Srividya) and daughter Pooja (Rajeevi). He strictly adheres to the caste. He got rid of his half-brother Krishna Murthy (Dr. Rajashekhar) and half-sister Seeta (Kalpana) because their mother is from a lower caste. They live next door (by partitioning their ancestral home).
