Koothara (English: The Rogue / Cultureless / Bad / Untidy) is a 2014 Malayalam coming of age mystery thriller film directed by Srinath Rajendran. It stars Mohanlal, Bharath, Sunny Wayne, and Tovino Thomas[1] The story, set in an untold period, focuses on three engineering students – Koobrin (Bharath), Tharun (Tovino Thomas), and Ram (Sunny Wayne), their adventures during the college days and the post-college life.The film is produced by Shahul Hammeed Marikar under the banner of Marikar Films and distributed by UTV Motion Pictures. The soundtrack and background score were composed by Gopi Sundar. The film was released on 13 June 2014, and received mixed response from critics
