Nuvve Kavali is a 2000 Telugu romance film, produced by Ushakiran Movies, and directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar. The film was a remake of Malayalam film Niram. Trivikram Srinivas penned dialogues for the film. Tarun and Richa Pallod debuted with this film as actors in lead role. The film has also garnered the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and three South Filmfare Awards. This film ran for 200 days in 20 centers. Its all time record at TFI after Premabhishekam movie.The original budget of Nuvve Kavali (2000) was only 75 lakh rupees. However, by the time the film completed shooting, the makers ended up spending more around 1.2 crore for quality-rich work. The film went on to gross over 20 crores - making it one of the most profitable film during that time.
