Palabishegam is a 1977 black-and white Tamil film that was directed by K. S. Gopalakrishnan and produced by T. Raju. Though the story and dialog was written by K. S. Gopalakrishnan. Music by Sankar Ganesh assets to the movie. Starring Jaishankar, Sreekanth , Sripriya and Rajasulochana was lead role in protagonist.Kumaran(Jaishankar) is a hard working former living a simple life along with his mother Meenakshi(Pandari Bai). In reality meenakshi is the wife of Village Lanndlord(S. A. Ashokan).Who lives with his congubine Sengamalam(Rajasulochana) and son named Muthaiah(Sreekanth). Kumaran despises muthaiah and they lock horns to with love of Sivagami(Sripriya).
