It is the first mythological film in Malayalam. It is debut Malayalam film of director-producer K. Subramaniam, T. K. Balachandran and music director V. S. Parthasarathy Iyengar. It was also the debut film of Guru Gopinath and Thankamani Gopinath.[3]
