Ragasiya Police is a 1995 Tamil action thriller film written and directed by R. S. Elavarasan. The film features R. Sarathkumar and Nagma in lead roles. The film, produced by A. N. Sundaresan, had musical score by Laxmikant–Pyarelal and was released on 23 October 1995. The film bombed at the box-office.The film begins with the murder of a politician committed by the domestic terrorist Azhagam Perumal (Anandaraj). The corrupt home minister Ponnurangam (Goundamani) wants to become the state Chief Minister. Ponnurangam was one of the 4 founders of the ruling party, yet he has not become the CM, while his co-founders and junior have become CM. Therefore, he orders Azhagam Perumal for money to create the chaos in Tamil Nadu.
