Often in our films, grandparents are either characters yearning for love or mentoring those around them with some 'seen-it- all' gyan, except may be for a Manassinakkare. Jude Anthany Joseph's Oru Muthassi Gadha, like the Sathyan Anthikad film, is about a muthassi who gets a chance to materialize a few of her little wishes. Movie starts off with a function at an Old Age Home and shifts to the central location of the movie. Home of the central character - Muthassi. First half revolves around the conflict of interests between Muthassi, Son, and Daughter in Law and Grand Kids. We have seen this conflict umpteen times in different movies and lot of serials. But the situations created in this movie and the way it is presented is much different from what we have seen till now. That is where the movie stands out. It is a Feel Good 1st half with some good light hearted situations which brings a smile over the viewers and little bit tears one or two times. Overall an excellent first half which touches upon the grandparents, parents and kids of the present day.
