Prithviraj Ezra First day collection 2.61 Cr

Ezra is a Malayalam horror thriller film written and directed by Jay K. The film features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priya Anand in the lead roles. While, Tovino Thomas, Sudev Nair, Vijayaraghavan, Sujith Shanker, Pratap K. Pothen plays significant roles.
Ezra movie released yesterday (Feb 10, 2017) at the box office, is a horror thriller that is different from the usual ones that we see in Malayalam. Despite the fact that the film is a horror thriller, most of the shows went houseful all over the state on the opening day. which had as many as 470 shows on the first day in 130 screens, is said to have crossed the Rs 2.61 crore mark on Friday due to the positive word-of-mouth feedback by the audience. The film had earned around 17 Lakhs from Cochin multiplexes with an occupancy of about 98%. With this, Ezra now has to its credit the third highest first day occupancy after Dulquer Salmaan’s Kali (99.08%) and Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan (98.71%).
The music of the film features songs composed separately by Rahul Raj and Sushin Shyam. Movie has been scheduled to hit the screens in rest of India on February 17, and all over the GCC on February 16.
