Ravi Vallathol passes away at the age of 67

At the age of 67, Mollywood star Ravi Vallathol goes missing. The actor had memory-related problems according to sources and was being treated for the same in a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The actor breathed his last at his home in Vazhuthakkadu, Thiruvananthapuram today. 

Through dramas and plays Ravi Vallathol entered showbiz. Ravi is also the nephew of poet Vallathol Narayana Menon, son of renowned writer and theatrical artist TN Gopinathan Nair. Ravi Vallathol has appeared in more than 40 films. He was also a part of television soaps, and his appearances in soaps are more common.

The 1987 movie 'Swathi Thirunal' marked Ravi's debut in M-Town. He has acted in many films with ace director Adoor Gopalakrishnan. In movies like 'Mathilukal,' 'Naalu Pennungal,' 'Vidheyan,' and Samantharangal' among others, some of his notable performances are. The actor has always been involved in fiction and wrote more than 20 short stories. His wife Geethalakshmi is survived by Ravi Vallathol. M-town celebrities like Mammootty, Mohanlal, Jagadeesh, Tovino Thomas and others mourned the Ravi Vallathol's demise. May he rest his soul in peace!
