Jayasurya to play a drunkard in 'Vellam'

Actor Jayasurya is reportedly playing a drunkard in director Prajesh Sen’s forthcoming movie, Vellam. The character poster of the movie was released recently.
Prajesh Sen made his debut as a director with Captain, based on the life of formal Indian football captain V P Sathyan. The role earned Jayasurya the best actor award at the Kerala State film awards in 2018.
Jayasurya is seen in a sloshed pose in the Vellam poster. Samyuktha Menon, Siddique, Johny Antony and Nirmal Palazhi include the cast.
Roby Varghese Raj is the cinematographer and Bijibal is the music director.
