National Award Winner Soumya Sadanandan’s Directorial Debut Is With Kunchacko Boban

Last year the anchor-turned-filmmaker, Soumya Sadanandan's documentary 'Chembai: My Discovery of a Legend' won great National level appreciation with a Special Mention for a Non-Feature Film. She is now planning her feature film debut with none other than Kunchacko Boban. The film is still in its initial stages and Soumya had previously acted in a couple of films like 'David and Goliath' and 'Ormayundo Ee Mukham.' Her TV show 'Film Lounge' is quite popular among the Malayali audience. Meanwhile, Kunchacko Boban’s next 'Diwanjimoola Grand Prix' is gearing up for a release and is being directed by Anil Radhakrishna Menon.

Kunchacko Boban’s next release will be Diwanjimoola Grand Prix, directed by Anil Radhakrishna Menon. In this upcoming movie, the actor is reprising his character of Sajan Joseph IAS from Lohithadas’ 2003 film Kasthuriman. Chackochan, as he is fondly called, is also playing a brief but prominent role in Abrid Shine’s Poomaram, which stars Kalidas Jayaram in the lead. Ramesh Pisharody’s directorial debut Panchavarna Thathaa is his other film in the pipeline.
