Ranjith Sankar reminisces his movie ‘Ramante Edanthottam’ which turns three today

Malayalam movie ‘Ramante Edanthottam’ was released on the same day, three years ago. Directed by Ranjith Sankar, the romantic drama had Kunchacko Boban and Anu Sithara in lead roles. The movie was a turning point for Anu Sithara’s career as she gave her best performance for the character Malini. Director Ranjith Sankar walked down the memory lane as the movie clocks three years today. Taking to his social media handle, Ranjith wrote, “Raman and Malini are quarantined in love. Their love has turned three today.”
Ranjith Sankar is one of the popular filmmakers in Malayalam cinema. His maiden directorial venture was 'Passenger' starring Dileep, Sreenivasan and Mamta Mohandas in lead roles. Ranjith Sankar's collaboration with Jayasurya often results in hits. The duo has collaborated for movies like 'Su.. Su... Sudhi Vathmeekam', 'Pretham', 'Njan Marykutty', 'Punyalan Private Limited', and 'Pretham 2'.
Ranjith’s recent movie is ‘Kamala’ which also marks popular actor Aju Varghese’s first film as lead. Meanwhile, the actor has been scripting for his next during the lockdown.
