Sooraj Venjaramoodu has now switched to character roles that him more room for performance. The actor is playing the central role in upcoming movie 'Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri' directed by Jean Markose. The movie which is touted to be a family drama and has Suraj in the role of a retired police officer. The motion poster for 'Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri' is out featuring Suraj Venjaramoodu along with Sindra, Mithun Ramesh, and Kochu Preman who plays other prominent characters.
